Easter Time

Hello everyone,
its been a very good week had my parents and my sister coming to visit me from Portugal for 6 days wich give me a bit of time to relax and to visit some places.
They completely loved Kew Gardens and we were really lucky with the weather.

These two photos were taken by my father the first one its viewed from St. Paul's Cathedral wich was really amazing. Well have to go know and do some work...

Música

"Casa da Música" its in Porto, Portugal, personally I really like the building, I do think that the context is quite strange an knowing this area of Portugal I still feel quite shock the amount of money spending in this building instead of helping people that live in poverty in this area. But I still think its a very beautifull space.

design development

still developing my masterplan area, I tried to colour it in pencil but end up using pens again, it took me almost the a day to get the images for my mood board but it's all a lot of fun, i find it really hard to even look at the "book" we have to do for Tom Turner well see you all monday

Hi everyone!!
Just been one more time to my site in Hadlow, beautifull day to take photos. Trying to reasoning why some of the trees just don't belong there is not very easy.
This image is from the conifer beds.

Beautifull line of Populus trees, one of the features of the site with biggest impact.

Stones to cross the river(not very safe).
I'm having quite a lot of fun developing my ideas for the site, having the power to change things.

Masterplan:Choosen Area

This is the area of my masterplan that I've got to detail, includes new library building and two decking areas.

Masterplan

Well after Monday disappointments, I've just managed to pass with a D- which is really hard to accept when I really tried to do all the work expected.
I find it really frustrating, staying nights wake for the masterplan, having to work 31 hours in the weekends, house to take care, dog to feed and husband with a fracture ankle to look after all this for a D-. I do know there is people with similar situation or even with children as well. I really didn't want to moan to much is just that i'm really tired.
Well looking foward to next stage...
Hi everyone!!
I've just managed to get Skecthup I'm having quite a lot of fun with it, it's really usefull to check how the design actually works.
I'm really delaid with the masterplan work but hoppefully I will catch up.
See you all monday:-)

I´m back

Back on business, after a long period of not doing much regarding my blog
Getting in that time of the year that everyone gets a bit stressed
Went to Portugal during Christmas wich was great, helped to put things into prespective

Reflection

Just read Dan blog quite a strong opinion from him and I can't help it to agree in a lot of the things he wrote
I was quite depressed when I came home from the last sketch design crit
I try to understand the learning curve of this course and I do feel results maybe not in my sketches yet but in the way of thinking about design and concepts
I always try to think positive so I will keep trying to do my best but it would be really "nice" to hear something positive about the work we doing even if everything else is wrong
But to be honest every Monday despite of feeling mentally exhausted I feel like I learn lots and hopefully the little light in my head will switch on very soon
